History

The Leighton Buzzard Brewing Company is a microbrewery that brought brewing back to the town of Leighton Buzzard after a hiatus of over a century.

First established in 2014, the brewery is located at Unit 23, Harmill Industrial Estate, Grovebury Road, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. It has become a local favorite for its craft ales and real ales, which are brewed and sold on-site. The original Brewer was Jon d’Este-Hoare. In September 2019, the brewery underwent a change in ownership, with Mark Debrick taking the helm. Under his leadership, the brewery has continued to produce its award-winning beers while also introducing new and exciting recipes.

During the challenging times of 2020 and the COVID pandemic, the brewery launched a local home delivery service, ensuring that its customers in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas could still enjoy their favorite brews.

The brewery is not just about the beer; it also hosts events such as comedy evenings and other events such as Bands @ The Brewery, and Record Fairs making it a hub for local social life.
